Stewardship Board

The Stewardship Board plans and assists members in carrying forward God's mission for Trinity Lutheran Church through the wise use of their time, talents, financial and all other God given gifts.

The Stewardship Board shall consist of three elected members, one to be elected each year for a term of three years. The newly elected members shall meet with the board in June and July to establish a budget and to organize for the fiscal year. They shall elect a chairman to represent them on the Church Council, and a secretary to keep minutes and records. They shall select and request appointment of appointed members as needed to fulfill their duties.

The duties of the Stewardship Board shall be:
  1. Making plans complementary to the congregational plan established by the Church Council, establishing goals toward achieving the plan, and preparing detailed budget requirements;
  2. Maintaining accurate records of the congregation membership;
  3. Discovering the talents of the membership and enlisting them in the congregational ministries;
  4. Working in close cooperation with the District and Synod Stewardship Committees;
  5. Instructing the people in the blessings of proportionate giving to God's work in our own congregation and in the world, and being responsible for conducting an annual stewardship program;
  6. Aiding in the planning of Mission Sundays and mission programs for members; and
  7. Administering the distribution of annual offering envelopes in a timely manner.
