Church Council

The Church Council shall be composed of the President of the congregation, the President Elect, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and the chairman of each board. The Pastor, the Day School Principal, and the Day Care Director shall be ex-officio members of the Church Council. The President shall serve as Chairman of the Church Council. The Church Council shall meet monthly to administer all affairs of the congregation.

The duties of the Church Council shall be:

1. Establishing a general plan for congregational development;
2. Studying matters presented by the various boards and make recommendations to the Voters' Assembly when needs are beyond the authority of the Council;
3. Approving appointed members to all boards;
4. Appointing officers to fill vacancies in elected offices until the next election;
5. Appointing a nominating committee as needed;
